MHFW Phoenix is our New Pan Disability football club based in Swansea.
On the 9th September 2024 MHFW became an official Affiliated Partner to the Football Association of Wales and have agreed to work together over the next 9 months. We also finalised the registration of MHFW Phoenix DFC as an official Disability Football Club based in Swansea and will be participating in future 7 aside FAW Disability Festivals and the brand new 11 aside South Wales Pan-Disability League which is a fantastic opportunity for any teams in South Wales delivering inclusive and unified pan-disability football and we are proud to be founding members.
One for the stattos, the Club formation date of 21st July 2024 is exactly 4 years to the day we became a registered charity. Pretty good going and everyone involved should feel very proud of the part they’ve played creating MHFW. #UppaPhoenix – Together We Rise…..
Players from our all of our wellbeing sessions are eligible to play in the Phoenix team provided they meet the event specific eligibility criteria.

6th October 2024 - A fantastic day for MHFW Phoenix playing in our 1st FAW Disability Festival in RTB Ebbw Vale. Everyone played really well, in the right spirit and with the right attitude, fair play everyone, won 2, lost 1, drew 1 not a bad start go on Spensa/Gaffer, great job .
Big shout out to the refs who i thought did a great job . Gutted for James whos car broke down en route and had to miss out

South Wales Pan Disability League is the inaugural 11-aside league competition in Wales for players aged 16+ in partnership with the Football Association of Wales (FAW).
The League itself is self-reliant, self-governed and organised by participant member clubs and aims to provide a competitive yet safe and friendly environment for pan disability footballers to thrive within.
Teams can join the league by purchasing on the FAW Comet System, £50 Entry Fee
